The Brief
HumanLab is a digital art exhibition intersecting art, science and technology. They invited 3AM:ENERGY as guest curators to propose a program that would combine digital artworks together with performance.
We invited artists Rahul Sharma, Portrait XO, and Makoto Inoue to screen their work. We also invited media artist GESO and choreographer Kadir Amigo Memis to install a new iteration of their work My Body Is, a Universe which combined combining an Anatolian carpet as a sculpture and a 3D reimagining of it. For the closing event, Kat Polar combined electronic sound and dance and performed using the screen-filled exhibition space as her scenography and stage.

What We Did
3AM:ENERGY provided curation and artist management services. Name, we wrote the contracts between the venue and participating artists, negotiated payment terms, curated the lineup, and designed social media events to promote the guest program.
